Thad Buchanan, though relatively new as an active knifemaker, has burst onto the scene as one of the more highly sought after makers of Loveless/Johnson/Young style knives. Thad counts Bill Harsey, Bob Lum and Ron Lake as the makers who helped him most in honing his skills. He learned well as evidenced by this stunning Loveless-style New York Special. The handle is made of beautiful matching amber stag with a snap on the backside, the CPM 154 blade is a double edge grind and it really sets off the stag. A great custom knife that will enhance any great collection.
