Chris Reeve - Project I

Status - Sold

This is a Chris Reeve Project I made in 1994. This knife is made from a single billet of A2 steel and is protected with KG Gun Coat, except for the razor sharp edge. The butt cap is Aluninum and also coated. The ho;;w handle is made for storage of survival items. Reeve moved his operation from South Africa to the U.S. in 1993 so this is a very early U.S. production piece and it is also unusual in that it is a non-numbered knife at the owners request. This knife has been sitting in storage with the original since it was new. There are oxidation spots on the blade from storage in the sheath, otherwise, the knife is as new and unused. The original paperwork that is availble is pictured below, this came to me without a box.

blade length: 7 1/2" ..................................... handle: 5 1/8" ............................................ overall: 12 5/8"

case/sheath: original sheath as pictured
