This masterpiece began life as a Joe Kious custom model 10. This classic lock-back folder with Joe's usual great fit and finish and superbly file worked back-spring is combined with the engraving artistry of Master Engraver C J Cai and the result in this wonderful art knife; Arabian Nights. The engraving consists of various engraving cuts and inlays of Gold, Silver and Copper, the Green stone in the turban is Malachite. A great use of space by C J integrating the various subjects of the engraving and using engraved windows in place of inlays to create the design flow with a natural separation of the elements. This knife will be a highlight of any collection of engraved knives.
