This is a Joe Kious custom knife model 6 1/2 with presentation grade Lapis Lazuli inlays, a Gold lock and a file-worked spine. The engraving by Master Engraver Brian Hochstrat depicts an Elephant hunter from days gone by; notice the old style muttonchops the hunter is sporting and the Birds-head grip on his revolver. One side has the hunter scouting out the Elephant herd and the other shows the hunter raising his weapon as the bull elephant charges. A unique and wonderful piece of art.
