A beautiful example of Scott's "Swift"' model featuring engraving by Marion Sawby, presentation grade black lip pearl, an ATS-34 blade, 416 stainless frame and Scott's patented "self-lock" locking mechanism which gets tighter if you try to close the knife without pressing the lock correctly. Regarding the engraving, here is Marion's description; "I found a Swift that is indigenous to Asia, called a Crested Swift. So, I put a Chinese junk on one side with a Crested Swift perching in the foreground and Swifts in flight above the junk. On the flip side, I put a close up of the Swift with a gold butterfly in its mouth amongst bamboo. I put Chinese writing on the back bolsters. The side with the junk has characters that mean "peace" and on the Swift side, the characters read "eternity."
