Kit grew up in the country, north Georgia, and pretty much always carried and used knives. He started making knives part time in 1972 and continued part time while in the military. In 1993 he retired from the military and started making knives full time. Kit has long been a stalwart in the custom knife industry and, due to the popularity of his knives, CRK&T picked up a couple of his designs for their production line. Kit's knives are sturdy and display great fit and finish.
