Mitch makes classic Loveless style stock removal fixed blades. The fit and finish of his knives is top notch. How Mitch got to where he is in the knife world is pretty interesting. He has been interested in making knives since he was thirteen years old and that’s because his scoutmaster was Steve R. Johnson. Mitch use to sweep out Steve’s shop, which became a hangout.  Hard not to catch the knife-making bug hanging around S R Johnson (who worked with Bob Loveless for many years).  Steve Johnson became his mentor and friend along with another renowned knife maker John Young.
