Strider Knives focuses on the development and construction of edged tools designed for hard use. The company was founded and is operated by former military personnel. The initial goal of the company was to provide a service knife constructed of the finest components while keeping it affordable for the average enlisted man and within his ability to maintain it. Mick Strider and Dwayne Dwyer, the primary moving forces behind Strider Knives, both create great custom knives which serve as prototypes that are ultimately considered for production. Strider, successful in achieving it’s initial goal also found a market for their custom knives.
